We try,
O so hard,
To somehow, anyhow,
Hold on, capture,
Somewhere deep, very deep in our hearts,
Those precious drops,
Drops of moments,
Those drops filled with innocence,
With madness, with laughter,
With those whom we call friends,
As the days turn to months,
And then years,
These drops start to slip from our palms,
Where we held it for so long,
From our hearts, where we cherished it for so long,
And after many rains have gone,
After all things gained and lost,
What remains shining from thy hearts,
Is the sparkles of rainbow,
Like those when light passes the first drops of rain,
From the few drops still left in my heart,
So Until these few last drops are lost from my heart,
And as I wait for my end,
I look at the rainbow,
And As I have my last few breaths,
I don’t want to analyze what I have gained and lost,
I only wish,
I had just a few more drops…..
